Exploring design options and consulting with the contractor, we felt we could utilize the opposite wall for storage and completely

as the kitchen, the screened porch is part “front porch” and part “living room”. Wicker furniture, a swing bed and a television concealed behind the paneled doors above the fireplace make this a true outdoor family room, as well as a charming spot to welcome guests. Is a TV concealed above the fireplace?
If so, do you have photos of the TV/fireplace when the doors are open?
Sorry for the delayed response, thank you for your question! Yes, there is a TV concealed above the fireplace but unfortunately I do not have any photos with the doors open.
@weekend_warrior, we were at the house today for a photo shoot, so I took a photograph with the doors open. I hope this is helpful!

who makes bifold cabinet doors 2 feet wide to make space of 6 feet across total
where can you find bifold cabinet doors? who makes them?
explain...I think at this point you would have your cabinet maker help you with this. We created a niche in the wall to fit the tv, then our cabinetmaker chose the correct size doors that would accommodate the niche. Luckily in the Atlanta area we can get doors made to the very exact dimensions we specify
a good price for un finished wood. Once he had the doors (14" each x 4) he created a frame to place around the niche and to attach hardware. This is a great long term solution, make sure you think toward the future sizing. He did finish the doors and mantle in shop with a multicast paint and finish

The TV is hidden behind cabinet doors with storage above and below for electronics. Plinth blocks, columns, mouldings and filler panels were used to create a built-in look.
Like color of wood. Basic idea of shelves with fireplace, but want the cabinets going across the entire bottom of the built-in.

How did they hide the TV?
Do you have a photo of the doors when they are closed? What is behind the panels on the outer area? Are they fixed or do they slide also?
is the tv covered by panels that lie flat once closed?
how big is this particular tv? it looks about 48inches. do you have any pictures of the tv panels closed? by what mechanism do they close?? thank you
Another option is TVCoverUps. Framed art(including your own) or Mirror adds to the room's decor, with the hidden TV and Entertainment Consoles beneath. See how EASY it really is: http://youtu.be/05bwMqaAS5Y
i like the way you can close the tv. doesn't look funny all the time.
TV that can hide behind a cover
HEY HEY maybe this is the trick for you. TV can be covered when you have your people over.
