Garden Room
I am looking for french doors to replace the very large panes/walls of window (they don't open) which Im told is very midcentury style. I would like to honor the clean lines of the home while melding my taste in decor. If you think this style
one that is similar if you don't have a brick wall.... ...
I will check our archives and get back to you. Thanks!
Possible idea for outdoor space. We love water features and they really aren't expensive themselves - it's having them pre built with the water coming to them we assume.
like the fountain idea, we could do this with ours out the back.....
I could paint this on the back fence

the island, but the idea you can walk into the back area of it -- not massive.
Imagining, but can't quite get there of a semi-circular island/table
super cozy island - like the idea of having a comfortable stool with back support - can see something like this
island/table in alcove using window seating. Perhaps raise floor at dining/window seating to be able to see without stretching. I don't care for bar chairs.

Marin Bungalow
Hi gdacken, Although I don't know exactly what species it is, It isn't Ipe. Ipe isn't sold with so many knots specially as large as these. When Ipe weathers, it turns into a beautiful silver gray as well. Here are some pictures! Hope this helps out.

Don't like the tub at an angle nor do I like it separating the sinks.
Romantic embroidered sheer draped over hold backs.
what about shower like this for master bathroom doors. Don't know if it would look right.
Tile around back of tub and small lines in shower

I need a black-out blind for some large west-facing windows, but I'd like something that can disappear when it isn't down.
i actually don't know the make of the blinds, it's not a blackout blind, but definitely keeps the glare from the sun out, we get a lot of sunshine in this room on the rare sunny days. it's a pale grey white blind, and was custom designed for the place by the builder.
Too white- doesn't look comfortable but I like the configuration
Layout against back wall for dining room wall
Like the back wall focal point.
the living room is bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the west-facing views. "I had this idea to create a focal point along the back wall," says Insiya. Hi, I'm afraid we don't have that info.
this is what I don't want
curtain could work fork a patio curtain, would typically be tied back. as in another photo
Self standing. Doesn't have to be attached to anything. If designed a little differently, it could be disassembled, taken down, and stored during the winter.

Lounging Area by the Pool
Doesn't cutting the grass and lawn maintenance become a pain with grass blowing into the pool?
questions you may have - most synthetic turf is made of the same materials these days. The main difference is in the backing used for the turf - we use a 100 percent permeable backing, which allows water to drain through quickly - more so than any other. ... Also attaching our recent installs with
winter to still have green lawns. It just dies out during our summers. I really love this and thank you for sharing. I would love to do this to my back patio some day.
Grass. What if it were moss or other low growing ground cover that doesn't need mowing or fertilizer? This is fake grass!! Looks very good.
