The beds are both queen size (top and bottom bunks)
The ceiling height of the room is 10'-6". For reference, the top of the window is at 8'-0". The orange curtain is hung on a standard curtain track, which is recessed into
Bottom bunk has a lot of space between their bed and the top bed
In shared rooms it is important to give each child a feeling of ownership over his or her corner of the room. Recessed nooks on a top bunk provide a place for a small lamp and personal items. Wall-mounted shelves or brackets are another great option for that nighttime glass of water

How did you install/support the floating glass vanity counter top?
wall prior to the drywall installation and the glass literally just sits on top of the brackets. The glass is bead blasted ( actually blasted with walnut shells for a course texture) underneath for texture but smooth glass on top. Thanks for the question (and the stunning comment!).

Long. This extra-long number makes a real statement against the concrete wall and under the floating glass sink top. The traditional style is pared down a bit, making it work in a more modern setting as well. For a similar look, see Rohl's Traditional Style Extended

what is the vanity top? marble or granite?
I'd also like to know the size of the top cabinet.
How do I stack a top load washer and a front load dryer?
I hate clutter on the vanity. how do i build a cabinet to hose the clutter? i am dealing with 133 inches and considering top mounted sinks.
This would work perfectly in my existing master bath. Love the cabinetry in center of vanity. Wouldn't want 2 sinks...one sink with vanity top space on other side.
Storage cabinets on the counter top, great!
Amp the storage. Take a good look at your bathroom. Are your storage options carrying their weight? If you’re renovating, make storage one of your top priorities by thinking of all the ways you can sneak it in, such as adding a vanity tower like this.

Master Bathroom
What kind of lighting is in the top corner of the shower, and is that a chandelier in the shower ceiling? Thanks!
Are the shower, the counter tops, and the floor design with same material, some kind of calacatta marble or porcelain tiles? If so, don't they look too busy?
Can you tell me the thickness of the marble vanity top please
You're a very patient man on top of all that. Some people are asking questions that have already been answered...more than once sometimes....yet you don't have any hint of impatience
range from 15 to 24 inches in width and 20 to 30 inches in height. You can mount on side walls adjacent to the sink or in the wall above the sink. Top of the cabinet should stay under 80 in but not below 48 in.

Are marble counter tops high maintenance?
including the island, with its artfully turned legs — is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Simply White. Honed Calacatta marble covers the counters and island top, while the warm wood floors (by Stang-Lund) are walnut with a hard-wax-oil finish.

Family Room
the comment, when the top of the cabinets lines up with the mantel, it feels clean and pulled together
love cabinets--get rid of fireplace, make cabinets up to 45" then put tv on top love sconces!!!
The stocked cabinets raised with additional trim surrounding the base and top- makes it look very custom
When the top of the cabinets lines up with the mantel, the style feels clean and pulled together. Tip: Use similar molding as the rest of the home for a cohesive look.

Powder Room
Wondering if you used a special sealer on the top (or sides) of the vanity?
How is the top of the dresser finished so as not to damage it?
This is a small powder room in a home that has several bathrooms, so this bathroom will get little use...it has a simple varnish over the top.
drawer dresser, curved legs' and you'll get some great links...this one looked unique: http://www.belleescape.com/green-chest-of-drawers-reclaimed-wood-top.html
I made a master vanity from a split old barnwood trestle table with Waterworks vessel sinks. We used many coats of marine varnish to protect the top from moisture. Works great. I re-coated this year (5 years after we made the table). All my favorite photos seem to come from Garrison & company's
