Chiampo is a region in Italy where the stone is sourced it is in VICENZA VENOTO (northern Italy) I would describe the colour as taupe (amberish grey colour). The supplier hasn't given it a colour

no it's a granite sink. Stone forest is the brand. it came in black granite as well.

This is standard blue stone and can be found at any stone distributor/quarry.
Thanks for your inquire. No there is no official plan for the stone work. It was an on site collaboration with the myself the stone masons and the homeowner.
