Tuscan with a dash of asian, a retired couple's home in Idaho overlooks Lake Pend d'Oreille. The shallow plan is all about the views, including a tight entry hall with a large sliding glass door opposite the front door for a "pow" moment when guests enter.
roof trusses @ 3:12, the minimum slope allowed to maintain the warranty on the roofing material. The look came from the owner's request to have a "Tuscan" feel but still fit in N Idaho. We would love to help you make this happen, give us a call 208-265-9160. Thanks!

Tuscan Elegance
What kind of glaze is on the wooden doors of the the island?
the species honestly as I cannot remember, but the paint color is an off white finish with a mocha glaze. Adding a glaze is fantastic because if your doors and drawers have a little detail, the glaze settles in the shadow lines. This make the cabinets feel a bit more aged. I would not worry about the south

achieved a lovely "Old World" look which is truly beautiful! Would you be able to tell me the stone and technique that was used? I am building a "tuscan" villa and want to have a similiar finished look and yours captures it wonderfully! Thanks so much...
