If you notice the jamb does not have casing... I often use this trim combination when there is a tight space as you see here with the countertop coming close to the doorway. I do not like it when the counter materials invade the space of wood trim on a passage or doorjamb

windows and doors were delivered in were used to create garage shear walls. Foundation forms were salvaged and rip cut for use as interior stud walls. Garage doors were salvaged from a remodel project in Mountain View.
