Where does the stove pipe terminate? It looks like it is vented horizontally, a short distance from the wall.
The fireplace is actually gas, so draw isn't important with this unit. Yes, you are correct though regarding the draw with wood stoves. Andy
Yes, the pipe runs up the wall, and exits with the std. gas fireplace termination

Purchasing a free-standing fridge rather than a built-in is a great way to economize and there are many free-standing models that accept custom cabinetry as well. Since both function equally well and have about the same life-span, free-standing can be a really good choice. Yet
It is a Vent-A-Hood, wall mount product. I am not sure of the exact spec except I do believe it is 36" wide (since it is the same size as the range).

I have a fireplace with a log butner inside, The actual depth of the fireplace is pretty small (most of it is outside) - perhaps 10cm. The hearth is a further 20cm. I am looking to
wood-burning fireplace so our builder has told us that the mantle will need to be "taller" than most. Is the fireplace in this photo wood burning or gas? I'm just trying to get a feel for scale. Thank you so much for your time.
The gas fireplace - do you remember what size was purchased for this room? 36", 42", or 50"? Thanks so much.
Love this fireplace!! What are the dimensions of the firebox? is it a direct vent, vent free or wood burning? Oh hell, I love the whole room :)
PLEASE tell me if the item you speak of is direct vent or ventless, I am looking for direct vent.

fireplace. Given our modern design aesthetic, the long but narrow fireplace would certainly work. The question is where can I find a wood burning (not gas) fireplace? Are there fabricators who make these domestically (New York - Mid Atlantic)?
they can change out the artificial logs in their gas fireplace to something more modern. The answer is "NO". But if you have a masonry woodburning fireplace with a working chimney, you may change over to a gas burner for convenience. I am not one to talk you into gas, because I love everything about wood
in the long run is that one can generally convert from wood to gas, but not the other way (unless you are changing back to wood from gas). The technology involved when installing a solid fuel burning fireplaces is also acceptable for gas products, but not vice versa. Now that modern fireplaces with

Beautiful fireplace! would really like to recreate this in our living room. This looks like free standing wall. Can you tell me how you constructed it and how far away from the main wall it is? Also, what is there to keep it from falling?
How is this fireplace fueled? Vented? Need a chimney?
This set up is a very popular and arrangement and direct vent is the way to go for any room, especially a bedroom. The only thing I would strongly suggest when installing a TV above a

pleasure! Also, I just want to confirm that I am on the right track with hardware. You mentioned to place the harware horizontally... as there are 3 sets of 3 doors 16" & 18" what size hardware do you recommend? I am thinking of a similar style as in your unit. Thank you! 26 hours ago
It's a gas fireplace - Montigo L42
We had a couple of drivers for setting the depths of the cabinetry and fireplace in the design. First off, the side cabinets had to have an interior depth

that the fireplace in the photo is one of Town & Country's clean face, flush hearth, direct vent gas fireplaces with the Park Avenue herringbone firebrick panels. Although Town & Country was the first to make a gas fireplace look this good, there are a lot of other choices these days for similar fireplaces
take a look at Rocky Mountain Hardware they have a similar style. Go to: http://rusticahardware.com/rocky-mountain-hardware-metro-multi-point-entry-set-1-34-x-11/
Safety note: Avoid unvented gas logs. Unvented gas logs are not recommended, because they release air from the fireplace back into the room with no exterior ventilation, potentially causing serious health problems, and they are banned in many areas. Even though gas fireplaces do not produce smoke
