I have an old wide plank pine floor in my house but the boards have shrunk with age. I would love to keep the floor because I love the colonial/rustic feel but I'm worried about spending the rest of my life trying to keep all the dirt

Floors are antique reclaimed heart pine from Longleaf Lumber in Cambridge, MA. Finish is matte Bona Kemi Traffic, although for an even healthier non-toxic finish, I now recommend ECOS Organic Wood Varnish (see link below) -- Same beautiful look with none of the off-gassing of traditional finishes
