Just had our 20 yr old Expanko cork floor refinished and it looks great.
This is Expanko Cork Flooring - cork "light" with a matte urethane finish. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the question. Mold is not a problem here. The maple surface does require routine maintenance in the form of applying mineral oil to keep water from penetrating into the wood surface and end grain. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the question. This is actually Ikea cabinetry - the finish has been discontinued but the sizing is still the same. The clients determined the kick height so that the final cabinetry sits just shy of the ceiling

passing now. Here's the answer. Hope it's not too late. ;-) The cork floor is VERY durable once it has its finish or top coats properly applied. If you use it before applying the top coats, it is very easy to damage. I had a very similar cork floor in my last kitchen and it was great not only for durability
