Is there a floor plan available for this house?
How do you call that roof between the fist and second floor?
What would you recommend for the structure on the second floor on top of a garage placed on the right of the porch? A dormer similar to the left side? Should the garage be flush with the porch or the house?

a double hung style window to meet egress they would be 3'-0"W. x 5'-0"H. The double wide windows in the second floor are egress windows in bedrooms while the middle windows on the first floor are the egress windows flanked by skinnier windows approx. 22"W.

our 2nd floor patio railing was arranged through Penner Home Hardware in Virgil. I would imagine that your local Home Hardware would have the same suppliers. Hope that helps!
