Pergola in Spring!
This pergola draped in Wisteria over a Blue Stone patio is located at the home of Interior Designer Kim Hunkeler, located in central Massachusetts.

Can wisteria be grown in Ohio?
Pergola leads from front door, along walking path to driveway in front of house. One side is in sun, and one side is in shade. Wisteria is too droopy for entrance.

I planted wisteria on an iron fence away from house where it won't be problematic. They need sun to bloom
roof or anywhere else. Keep pinching off any leaves that are along the post and cut back any more shoots from the bottom. Make sure that you buy wisteria in bloom as some of them don't bloom for seven years.
Excellent use of wisteria over neutral design palette.

Wisteria on Atherton fort
Would you please provide details about the wisteria treehouse? I live in Sunset, SC and have a massive dead pine I need to remove. This appears to be a perfect solution!
Is this a wisteria? Is it attached to something?
Wisteria attached to a Tree house, upon a dead Oak tree stump
All plants are wonderful. . . in their right place. No harm done by this Wisteria, being planted around an old Oak tree
BUT THE BUGS! Wisteria attracts so many insects (had to take it outs from our pergola) Sorry. I love this in theory only.
foresight it took to train this wisteria!
Good support for Wisteria, Trumpet Vine, etc
Love the idea of putting wisteria on a treehouse
