This guest bathroom has been kept as simple as possible to feel like part of the furniture. The timber floors work with the recycled timber vanity and the decor has used earthy colours and textures to soften the feel. Photography by Sue Murray - imagineit.net.au
Where do buy the vanity? Was is special ordered?
The vanity is simply a piece of recycled timber ordered to size and then stained to suit with a counter mounted basin and tap. Easy to do and so effective!
The vanity itself is 1120mm x 500mm and the bowl is 420mm x 420mm. It is a nice balance between bowl and bench.
The vanity is one piece of recycled timber cut to size and stained and coated to get the right colour. The sink is a CARINA Counter Top Vessel from www.acsbathrooms

Vanity - so perfect! Can you tell me about wood, where it was made?
Hi laujane: The vanity was made custom by a cabinet maker. The cabinet has a Maple plywood interior body and is clad with the same reclaimed wood that is used on the opposite wall (salvaged from the selective demolition of the walls of the house). The outside corner edge drawers (far right) are mitered
Oh wow. The vanity, marble, faucet, shelf and mirror are all so perfect. Can you tell me more about the vanity? I would love to duplicate this look in PA.

Bath Suite. Initially, I designed 3 different options, but option 1 was a home run for the client and also my favorite based on thier wishlist. The vanity and mirror are custom made for the space with a 12 step dark stain process that allows the depth of the grain to show through. It took about 10 sample

This bathroom combines a neutral palette with earthy textures. A recycled timber vanity and timber look tiles feels like you have brought the mountains to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Photography by Sue Murray - imagineit.net.au
How is the wood sealed to withstand exposure to water. Does the cut surface under the sink for pipe access degrade with water drippings? thank you
Could you tell me how you mounted the vanity, it looks really
Could you please tell me the dimensions of this vanity, including thickness of the wood minus the wood pieces framing it. And also how did you get the edging to stick to the main piece?
Where did you purchase that vanity?
This vanity is 495mm x 1250mm and the timber thickness is 45mm. The edge was wood glued and clamped on. We go our timber supplier to do this as they have the full press to ensure it was done properly

Where can I find this vanity?
Any idea who makes this vanity and/or the mirrors? Thanks!
Tight space for toilet and sink, vanity top over toilet
shelves under the vanity for minimal amount of decorative towels etc. all personal items need to go in baskets where contents are not visible (for a neater look).
Choose bathroom furniture that communicates your style. For someone who favors the zen approach to design, this rich wood vanity paired with a white bowl sink fits the bill.

The vanity was supplied by the developer of the building. Unfortunately I do not have the information. I remember that it was made of maple.

Hi, Where did you purchase the light fixtures? Also, what type of sink is in the vanity? And where did you purchase the sink from? Thanks.
Love the sink! Manufacturer? Vanity too. Where can I get them?
Where can I get the vanity?
What did you put on top of the vanity to protect the wood from water spills and etc? I'm making something similar but afraid that it will look different once you start using it. Thank you!
They were antique salvage pieces, both the sink and vanity.
