I have not seen this brand with the star emblem.
I've just about ruled out honed absolute black granite because of poor reviews with regards to upkeep, staining, and generally looking bad due to fingerprints and oil
About the installation of the sink and the backsplash
LOVE everything about your kitchen. Thanks in advance
in honed absolute black and it looks terrible! Thankfully it's only in the laundry. It shows fingerprints terribly (can't believe the comment made about it showing them less). Basically, it looks smudged (like it has oil stains) all the time. I'm sorry I got it!
Hi Amy. We're about to install this same sink and cabinets. Where does the air gap come out? In the countertop? Or inside a cabinet?

out the gables and cabinet on top by about 4"!
I'm going to guess that it is the 30" Amana since this kitchen is compact and would need to take advantage of every square inch. Note that the 33 runs only about $50 more and both are energy efficient energy star appliances, so you might want to go bigger
Did you ever find out about the hood? and if so, what? thanks!!
Just about every cabinet maker has a "Shaker" cabinet like this. You should have no problem finding exactly what you're looking for at any of your local cabinet
removable side fillers. This is probably 33" or 34" wide which means the homeowner can no longer fit a refrigerator 25 cubic feet or larger. That's about 90% of all side by side and french door units on the market today. Judging from the stove and hood this person likes cooking -- hope they have room
