Mombasa granite early on, and so as we moved ahead with the project, we built the kitchen's color scheme around the rich ambers and warm alligator greens in the stone.
On the perimeter we used 2 paint colors: a taupe with a clean brown glaze (mostly wiped off) and a soft vintage green with distressing, glazing, and some weathering at the areas of contact. For the islands, we did an antique wood.

How about an accent color on the gate? Might be fun.
Cobalt sets the tone right out of the gate. Give your home's facade a jolt of cobalt on trim work, gates or exterior doors.

there is still approx 3 feet behind this trellis as there is a small walkway behind it. If I recall correctly, the total width of the structure is about 2 feet so you might be fine if you can get a few more inches between your driveway and your neighbors fence.
I like this idea for blocking the view of the neighbor's trashy yard & home. Don't know if it is feasible for the length of fencing we are needed. Perhaps grape arbors with trees in between them? I'm looking at about 100'.
