Something about the snow Too beautiful for words !
perfect about this bathroom is the view. I would have to redo the whole interior design of the bathroom.
all of us (at least not those of us with close neighbors), but if you are lucky enough to have a home with some privacy, I say make use of it! A wall-to-wall window like this one will give you the feeling of soaking right out in nature — and making the bottom of the window level with the top of the tub

thinking about a side by side because if it placed in a corner there won't be enough room to swing the door open and slide out shelves. hope this helps.

shower head about 17" from the wall,. I want to use a single panel of glass like this but am concerned about how wide the open area needs to be. 36" of glass like you have would give me on;y 18" of clearance which seems too little. I was thinking a 30" piece would work...but still would 24 inches of opening
you tell us what exactly it is called? is it tile? stone? thanks! you are inspirational!

comment about the rock climbers made us chuckle. (Got some of those adventure seekers living in our house!) While the desire for the minimalist look is understood and appreciated, enclosing the stairs in the photo that started this discussion with glass on the open side, could make it safe and maintain
all/most the US states are all following the stair codes in the IRC books. Which means you for sure need a guard starting on the 3rd step. Many beautiful options without having to break the codes.. Puts everyone at risk, and people do fall down stairs... Would be a bummer day to fall off the seventh step
talking about - very pretty colors in the layout in this house. Well done., Also no insult to rock climbers, surfers, snow boarders, zoo workers, etc, danger has its place as well - maybe just not in the building code... ; ) Attached are some interesting banisters we did.
