It’s all about practicality and keeping it functional. Pullout bins that hold produce, topped by the honed soapstone, feel right at home next to the wine cooler. Wood countertops are another good option in these spaces, as it is warm and does not typically have to stand up to constant water.
think about what you need. • Was there stuff shoved way in the back that you didn't know existed and had a hard time reaching? • Is the pantry the best place for your herbs, or would you like them closer to where you cook?• What else would you prefer to keep near the stove? You may want to clear a cabinet
and what about sufficient drainage under those planters (would think trees and deep watering would take a fairly hefty drainage/runoff control design)? Any details available would be appreciated.
would I go about doing something like that for my fireplace? I have the porcelonosa shine dark 12 by 24 tiles from floor to ceiling around my fireplace which is flush against the wall. I want to add some depth to the fireplace if that makes sense. My only issue is that I have crown molding on the top and
one is about 24" off the floor. With your ceiling height, you might consider something a little lower and also take any decorative tile to the ceiling to keep everything in proportion.
"lip" about a foot in width that goes all around the ceiling. so basically you got the ceiling and as you approach the edge to the walls the ceiling drops about an inch or half inch creating a border of some type.
I can email a pic but not sure how toto post here doesn't seem to give me an option to
tell me about the fireplace surround? Where can this tile be obtained? Thanks much!
