majority of us will never have a bathing room this large, it's inspiring to see surprising elements like the mural, the lack of tile, the fireplace, the light fixture and the furniture. One rule NOT to throw out: Check safety codes when using a hanging light like this one and a bathtub in the same room.

room was about 12'x12' with 10' tall ceilings -- so to try and get the proportions to feel right (instead of feeling like you were in a tiny, tall box), I painted the ceiling dark to bring it down to a more pleasing scale. If you have short ceilings -- anything under 9' -- I would only do darker ceilings
