worried about the white trim but since the 3 rooms are an open floor plan, I think the trim should match in all rooms. It looks like you may have used the same colors on the trim but did you use the glaze on it as well? Also, what color and kind of paint did you use on the upstairs wall? Thank you so much

What about some sort of glass block or frosted glass with a vinyl window -- you keep the light but don't have a problem with wood. Does the window have to open (due to code)? If not, some sort of custom glass block might be great.
