This kitchen is about 16' x 25'.
Sure~ you can use this treatment in just about any common room. Without seeing your space I can't give you advice on how to use it~ I would recommend hiring a local designer to help you with that
The contractor did the ceiling work~ I'm not sure about his technique, however I would recommend getting some extra material and experimenting until you get the right color / sheen.

Gorgeous- Can you tell me about the backsplash details&cabinet glazing
I am confused about the back splash idea. Like in the picture, I have a 5" granite back splash that goes up on the wall. So I thought my only option was to paint from
to underneath the cabinets. In the picture it looks like that a tile goes really well with the granite. Please help me out as I have been misled about what to do with this area between the granite and underneath the cabinet.

You should call Marble and Marble in Vaughn for the cost. I think it was about $400 per slab. The black is the fireplace metal surround. Had many compliments, it is amazing.
the Xtreme 6020 Fireplace made by TRAVIS Industries. Maybe a bit bigger that the 6020. I just ordered this and it has not been installed yet. Took about 8 weeks to get. I ordered it because the flames are much higher than the others I researched.
Thinking more and more about this long and low look. Very contemporary
what about the black accents here with the grey?

If i want this house plan, how do i go about getting one? can i modify it to my liking e.g open plan of lounge, kitchen and dinning area on the ground floor where in this picture are two cars
the cars, or is that wood? If it is steel, how large is it? I am building a similar carport and the design calls for 10 inch steel and I'm worried about it being too heavy and looking like a bridge. Also, what type of wood is the cladding and the ceiling? Mangaris?
car porch? you mean car port? i am not sure if you are asking about siding or flooring.
owners request. the carport and apartment you see in this photo was completed along with the primary residence. the whole construction process was about 12 months.

on either side of my fireplace as shown in this picture. I am having difficulty figuring out how to disguise all the TV accessories. I had thought about a small built-in cabinet to one side of the fireplace, but the other side of the fireplace will have an entrance to a hallway(not enough walking room)
big deal. If the purpose is to recess a TV, have the cutout made about 1-2" larger than TV. Have a .5-.75" box built of ply and insert into recess. The TV should be slightly proud of the stone. Finish it off with a picture frame about 3-5" wide to conceal the cutout.
recessed TV about the same size as firebox
