Where were you able to hide the air returns?
I was told by a friend that there are cooktops with pop-up vents that are much better than just a regular JennAir downdraft. I don't kow the manufacturer....
It has to be down draft... Jenn-air makes them, I am still looking for the best product. If anyone knows of a good maker of down draft vents please share.

Easygoing rounded shapes are lower maintenance in a clipped garden than those with crisp, straight lines, and they blend well with bountiful flowers
