What wood is that being used for the wood screen? Thanks
The wood used for the screen is walnut with a clear satin finish.

French Country Kitchen
Love the kitchen. I'm looking for a way to have white wood incorporated with stained trim and windows.
This is flooring the homeowner picked out before the kitchen remodel was started -we're not sure of the make/color.
colourful dishes displayed on open shelves around window, light counter, wood floor and window frame
Open kitchen- reminds me of ours if we took out the counter
It's not boring, like most kitchens are.
could make dinette & kitchen one giant eat-in kitchen
wrap around kitchen with table in the middle?
Maintaining a functional kitchen work triangle proved difficult when trying to maximize counter space, but the U-shape format helps keep the sink, stovetop and refrigerator in a layout that works. Wrought iron chairs on casters add to the French country vibe and can be easily moved away to turn the table

unnoticed by everyone but a woodworker, but CORRECT sanding makes huge difference in the final outcome... once again, in my opinion. Being SOFT woods doesn't make them any less prone to damage resulting from swings in the humidity or weather. So... we typically sand & PRE-finish the materials, and
would never have thought all that would go together, but I have to say, I like it!
Also uses green as the pop of color, though uses a brighter, more lime green with white accents in the color. Other good colors: navy blue and red. Since we already have green in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom
classic choice and is certain not to just be a fad. The yellow-ish hue can be limiting when putting together color choices; I often recommend painting the wood out white for a fresh look.

Please tell me how to install concrete in some areas and wood in others and have them all the same height. How is that done in this house?
do I choose a tile or wood or cork flooring in a very light color that somehow can give me this feeling . So few products come in shades similar to stained concrete and that ones that do are expense for me.Or do I choose a black wood floor since no other color seems to match all the elements in the house
darker. If it were not for people telling me that concrete is not seen in homes around here and does not fit the architecture of the house and that wood is a better investment than I would have had it done a week ago. I also just saw a program where they had radiant heat installed under the concrete

Custom-upholstered antique furniture in fresh colors. Mixing contemporary and classic art. Industrial Lindberry cart as coffee table. Shiplap wood walls.
What type of wood was used for the wall? How do you obtain that white look to it, however keeping the grain of the wood look intact?
to roll on the stain and rage off. Remember if you have new construction you can avoid all the costs of sheet board cement with this application - skimming - painting - sanding - painting ect. In most cases a wood T&G ceiling is less expensive as well and much easier to use sweat equity on. Here are
making the conscious choice not to fill in the dips of every knot and character mark of the wood, staining may be worth a try. One last concern, as you can see in the second picture. The patches of other wood indicate where my cabinets will be (the bare taped parts indicate my oven backsplash). I was
