worn wood here. Search salvage yards for antique ones and don’t be afraid to spring for the few knobs you’ll need. If you can’t find this sort of door detailing, you can create a similar effect by placing a medallion behind each knob in the center of your doors. Look for antitwist pins to keep the knob

markets for discarded antique doors. Scoop them up and refurbish them for an eclectic look all your own. If you find several that match, use them for both interior doors and cabinetry.

Great door - there HAS to be a story behind it!

mantle was done by the sheetrock subcontractor, and the wood piece on the mantle was an antique door on loan for the show. Not sure where the grate came from but I would guess that the same company that loaned us the door also lent us the fireplace grate. Hope that helps!
furnishings and decorations were on temporary loan from several sources. The story behind the antlers, as I was told, is that they are in fact real antiques from an English (or was it Scottish?) Manor and are worth several thousand dollars (though they went back to the store after the show was over).
