what stone is used on the countertop?
probably 3cm thick and it appears much thicker here. What is the finished thickness?
The countertop is Spanish Gold marble wtih an antique finish. Thank you for your interest in the project. --John Malick & Associates
You should be able to buy this marble at your local stone yard or one in Los Angeles. Your designer may be able to recommend a more specific source. Stone slabs are not standardized products with uniform color, veining, etc. Always inspect them in person

how the stone is supported over the cabinets? I want to do this in my kitchen.
Can you tell me what stone it is and how thick? What is the grout? Any other useful tips
Do you know the name of the fireplace stone and color?
What happens when you have to try to clean the grease from the stove top in the stone around the oven?
The stone around the range (and throughout this home) is Harlowton Stone. It was set with masonry mortar that is a natural grey color and you really don't see from the face of the stone. Good luck with your project!
Wide plank Oak that has a distressed / antique finish.
Can you please share the name of the cabinet maker? I also like the range and the backsplash for that stone hood. Is that copper or bronze behind the burners? The whole kitchen is fabulous. Did you use reclaimed oak on the floor as well, or did you go with Hickory?

Jerusalem stone for a fireplace wall. Can you tell me where I can obtain it?
Jerusalem Stone. It is not real old so they hyper antiqued it and wobbled the surface so it can look old. The real Antique Biblical Stone or Jerusalem Stone has much less red colors and is worn on the surface but is barely ondulated so it doesn't vary in thickness. We do carry the real thing. here's our
obscure stone yard. I would NOT use it for flooring like they did. It's like walking on the cobblestones in europe, Not recommended.
2 1/2" thick and difficult to walk on. It wouldn't have been my choice, but they loved it.

this stone, what is it called?
Beautiful!! Are the large square slabs colored, salted concrete or a natural stone?
The stone is gorgeous. Is it a facing or veneer? What was the cost?
a true stone facade. The material cost is around $150/ton delivered to our site in DFW. We budget around $12-$13 per face square foot of exterior walls to buy all the materials and pay the labor to install the stone. Hope that helps.
That stone is called Chopped Granbury, from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area in Texas. It was laid in a thick mortar joint with a slight 'smear' to try and make it look old. Hope that helps.
