combine two apartments for a growing family on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
For a busy couple with one child, and another soon on the way, the design team worked intensely to prepare a design scheme which could be executed in record time. One of the main design challenges was to define a very distinct delineation
of the apartment. Both of these goals were accomplished by the creation of a large 6' sliding door that could be closed once the children go to bed, effectively dividing the public from private space.
A variety of texture and materials were used to create a sense of continuity throughout the space. Hand
