midrange appliances like Electrolux and Kitchen Aid. I love the industrial handles but I'm wondering if the look of these handles is too bulky for this area? making appliances with oil rubbed bronze finishes, I think we're all stuck with the somewhat utilitarian look of SS, white, and black (unless you integrate into cabinetry completely).

Updating desert southwest knotty pine kitchen
I own a custom pueblo style home built in the 90s -I love the charm of the desert southwest... my kitchen cabinets are all Knotty pine traditional southwest from that era. and I wish to keep them but want some ideas on updating the finish to be

these appliances were reused. The oven's and cooktop were Thermador, the Microwave was GE. We added the 48" Kitchen Aid refrigerator and dishwasher. I love Kitchen Aiid's large built in refrigerators for their reliability...these products are so expensive, I expect them to be mostly trouble free and
see the updated versions of all of them. Most have the info if you highlight the pic! Also, do your homework...some professional hoods are very loud! Happy New Year! Jo

steel appliances are at the higher end of the quality spectrum than their white and black counterparts. While you can't generalize, I'm sure there are some st. steel appliances that don't perform as well as lower end looking models. In general, most reputable and well know kitchen appliance manufacturers

Lastly, most st. steel appliances will have more functionality, options, and will tend to have an option of energy efficient models, which in turn will make them better than non efficient comparable models

Pull the drawer down and hide the appliances
Hide the small appliances when not in use, on the counter, & possibly with an outlet at each location
appliance garages - looks like you can use the appliances while they're inside
Avoid appliances or gadgets that offer to do one simple task just a little bit better: a garlic peeler, a lemon zester etc. Most of the time, you’ll find that a good kitchen knife will do the trick; plus it’s easier to clean and more empowering. Also avoid gadgets that promise to do too many things.
