Rose Arbor Entry
This front dropoff has a gated entry into a courtyard space. The climbing roses arch over the arbor cascading down their scent when in bloom.
How high/ wide is the arbour? Love it and it would great with our old old house.

Rebar and wire for a arbor
Just the type of arbor I'm looking for-cheap and custom. :)
For an arbor. In an application similar to the gabion, rebar and agricultural wire can be used to build an inexpensive arbor upon which to grow vines or even a weeping tree. Be advised that rust may stain any substrate underneath it.Rust is generally not harmful to plants unless the soil pH is lower

Thick vines weave their way in and out of this series of arbors and blend well with the structures. These arbors will be hardly recognizable once they are covered with vines.

7. Frame a garden room. White climbing roses on an arched metal arbor form a romantic entry to a lawn enclosure at this San Francisco residence. Light-colored fabrics catch the eye and keep loungers cool in the heat while a background of mature cedars helps make the blooming roses stand out.

What type of trees are planted to grow on the arbor?
The vines on the arbor were here when we took over the house and we managed to save them. They're a combination of Cecil Bruner roses and what I call white potato vine.

1. Arbors. There is something very charming and quaint about a front-yard arbor. It not only says, "Welcome"; it seems to holler, "Come on in and visit for a while!" Arbors can accent a cottage, but they can also set off a more contemporary house — it's all in the materials. A rose-topped white lattice
contemporary vibe. The arbor and plant material offer a one-two punch.Tip: Resist the urge to overplant your arbor — check the size of the vine you plan to grow on it and plant accordingly. If you are in love with a more diminutive vine, you may need to plant one on either side of the arbor, but only plant
