need to cover arched window in bedroom
Single top rod arched window treatment
Height of drapes with our crazy shaped dining room window
panels on straight rod above arch (Living room)
I love the color of the walls. And the way the curve of the sofa and the curve of the chair back echo the curve of the window. And the diamond pattern of the fireplace screen.
seven arch windows soaring 11 feet upward. It is a dramatic gallery space, where plum, chocolate and soft latte shades are defined by the sage and bronze wallpaper of the ceiling. Splashes of pure white create visual focus. The effect is dramatic but friendly and cozy at the same time. The drapery
flank the windows but do not take away from the outside view.
s the window treatment in the arch of the window stationary or can it be opened?
I have arched windows in all of my bedrooms and don't want to lose the light of adding a stationary blind and look of the arches but I will also need to put shades down at night. What would you suggest? Kim Tiano
stationary window treatments. This is not a bedroom but rather a family room. For the bedroom shades there are many arched blinds products. You can look up Hunter Douglas or Graber. If you decide on a softer look for the bedroom, there are many arched rods available. You can look up Orion iron works hardware
Arched windows can be difficult to dress, especially when they soar to 16 feet. Designing a treatment that suspends from individual finials allows the treatment to echo the curve easily.
e the window treatments! How did you attach finials to the wall?
I've been looking for ways to decorate my arched windows. I love this idea, but wasn't sure how you were able to attach finials to the wall when they're designed to screw into the rod. Thanks so much!
arch window treatment - can you actually close curtains though?
interesting way to cover arched window
Arched window treatment, formal but not formidable
Well, they tried. What is causing the problem is that rod is mounted inside the window frame, so the drape is hitting the sill. I think if the rod was mounted on the trim, it would be better. You're right, it's a funny length, but everyone is entitled to what works for them.
No no no to the 80's arched window
like the window treatment for kitchen, but to length
Hi,
I'd love to know if I can make similar window panels hung from medallions without getting them custom made? (p.s. I do not know how to sew either!) Would tab top panels with the tabs tucked in or multiple tabs on one medallion work? Or perhaps a different style panel? Thanks
cabinets, the window and the bathtub please.
for the arch frame or rod? thanks
Arched windows add architectural interest, but they can be your "arch" enemy when trying to fit them with drapes. Enter medallion knobs, which work really well for treatments on curved windows.
