Are there lights behind the frosted glass cabinets above? Are these cabinets functional or fake (faux)?
We have cherry cabinets with a dark stain & looking for a quartz or granite light countertop. Our floors are tile in earth tones with a design that has movement. Can you suggest a quartz countertop? Thanks
These cabinets are functional. There are haolgen lights in each cabinet and the glass is frosted.
There is some tile made by Florida Tile that looks similar: http://www.floridatile.com/products/vitra-art-tranquil same color, maybe different size.
That looks like a stain on cherry - most cabinet lines have a finish available that's similar to this. Kitchen Craft for example has one called Nutmeg.

an easy inexpensive DIY makeover to get this look? If you have a dining set, keep the classic table and use spray paint from your local hardware or craft store on your chairs to get a silver look. gray, white and charcoal. I'd recommend going with solid white draperies so as not to take the focus off what will surely be the star of the room: your art. Pinch-pleated, lined panels from JCPenney are amazingly affordable. As far as area rugs go, my first choice would be to stick with something plush
