Darling-Wright Residence
All the faucets and showerheads were replaced with low-flow fixtures, and the toilets were replaced with low-flow reproductions of a 1921 toilet with a low wall-hung tank. These new, historically appropriate fixtures and toilets meet today’s code requirements for water conservation.

handmade Mexican items like this and create your own eclectic style. This article on the Wall Street Journal about Frida Kahlo's house in Mexico City is also interesting to your project. Warm regards http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303627504579558381840496514

I thought that by saving this on my Ideabook I would be able to access the article. I remember the article gave the paint info but now I can't get to it. Could you please tell me what it is?

Energy Design in Boston was the architect for this Passive House. There is a recent article in Boston Magazine that actually shows the floor plan. You can check it out here. http://www.bostonmagazine.com/home-design/article/2013/06/04/zeroenergy-design-sustainable-house/

Historic House
I would love to read the article about your home. Is this an entire remodel? Love the pics and questions. Looks like there are some sustaining water projects (green) as well. Was wondering the Length of your home?
You can find links to the article in Country Living if you search for "Tim Cuppett Country Living". We left original parts of the historic house alone, except for paint. Previous interior alterations and addition were modified drastically. Rainwater collection barrel in the back holds just enough
