that looks almost identical to this at least from the back. Ours in on a bluff lot. Our balcony/porch roof leaks terribly. We have to tear down and rebuild. Ideas on how to waterproof it properly this time? Feedback much appreciated!

The porch ceiling is painted Tongue & Groove wood. Unfortunately, we do not recommend a power washer as there are recessed heaters in ceiling. Hope that helps

This back porch is the perfect place to beat the heat and yet keep an eye on the pool activities.
How do you clean the porch ceiling? We have Lodge Pole Pine on our ceiling with Fruitwood stain. Thank you.
Thanks for your interest in my project. This porch is so cozy and the ceiling really helps with the effect. The ceiling was pre-existing from a previous homeowner so I don't know the species of wood for sure, but I would assume it's cedar. Good luck

this porch is 8-0 wide, the minimum functional porch depth in our opinion. If a porch is less than 8-0 feet wide it is just decoration, like fake shutters
