Love the look of the fireplace. Do you know the type and color/description name for the stone? Tks!
I want to know what plant you have crawling on the wood arch at the fireplace? I live in S.E. TEx. and am having trouble finding plants that will grow in this area successfully!
Type of flower to the right of fireplace?
Fully integrated. This outdoor fireplace fits seamlessly into the backyard garden with the built-in overhead pergola. The shady addition makes this a great space to spend time in, day or night. Tip: Plants can help add color to a sparse patio design. If a built-in pergola isn't for you, try integrating

Garden spot gathering
This outdoor living space features a gas grill, a charcoal grill and a wood burning fireplace right next to the kitchen garden
This is beautiful, simple, restful. What kind of stone is used in fireplace and on ground, What kind of ground cover is used to fill. Would love to duplicate at our mountain ranch.
The fireplace is common brick and the stone on the ground is a type of flagstone common here in North Carolina. Originally, the ground cover was a type of mondo grass, but it did not do well. In fact, if you look closely, a lot of it had been pulled out before the photo shoot. I'd recommend using native

And what material is the fireplace?
Be a little careful what kind of stones you put in a firepit. Some explode when heated, sending small sharp fragments flying. I concur with Anne, your local fireplace expert should be able to help. Find one at the National Fireplace Institute website: nficertified
Anyplace that sells fireplaces will sell this material, including stone yards.

Modern outdoor fireplace designs by Cipriano, a 2013 Best Design Winner offers a clean look across the small backyard landscape-Upper Saddle River NJ. The outdoor fireplace provides warmth and a sharp look while the hot tub and water features add a cool inviting feel to the landscape.
The gray decking is a Indiana Limestone, very clean look. The fireplace is a natural thin veneer.
