the total length of the beds. stairs, etc.
What are the total dimentions of this space? (depth of bed space overall length of beds with stairs)
How do you do a stair/ladder like that code wise?
I have a loft I thought I could do a similar ladder style stair to, but the local building department would not buy it! I am an architect, also!
Per OP, the total wall length is 16' 6" (including another stack of beds to left of stairs). Assuming standard Twin-size mattresses, bed berths are approx 6' 5" long, walls/posts are likely 2x6 construction (so 6 1/2" thick), which would
love this!!! love the beds & trim. Would like the stair wider & stained the same as the trim. Also would like to add drawers under the bottom bunks.

Tucson Residence Kitchen

Questions8
initially asked us to assist with selecting materials and designing a guest bath for their new Tucson home. Our scope of work progressively expanded into interior architecture and detailing, including the kitchen, baths, fireplaces, stair, custom millwork, doors, guardrails, and lighting for the residence –
to the uniquely differentiated spaces. Much of the detailing shares a common vocabulary, while numerous objects (such as the elements of the master bath – each operating on their own terms) coalesce comfortably in the rich compositional language. Photo Credit: William Lesch
I would like to do. Similar layout in a bathroom expansion but it would mean putting the vanity under the stair space- I'm trying to figure out how to do it without feeling claustrophobic Thanks
