What color/material is the back splash? My kitchen is similar colors and can't find a back splash I like
The floors are beautiful. What type of wood and stain were used here?
I love the floors. The stain would work beautifully in our kitchen. Would you have the stain color that you used, please?
Thank you. The floors are reclaimed heart pine floors with a dark custom stain. These were existing hardwoods so we unfortunately don't have the exact stain color.
Best case scenario I would recommend selecting the paint last. There is an unlimited number of paint options out there but tile and all other materials are much more limited. You can always find a paint or have a custom one mixed to complement your design. It is much more difficult to find tile

It's a 12x24 porcelain tile. Perfect for a bathroom because it can stand up to moisture from bath and shower steam, and sticky hairspray mist wipes away clean. Several companies make a similar tile

This bathroom uses a light, buff-colored grout. That slight off white grout colors allows the green tile to blend into the painted walls better.

Do you have concerns using travertine in a bathroom due to stains, etc
I am considering using travertine in our whole house including bathrooms, but do not want a lot of issues with staining, upkeep, etc. I also wonder about using it inside
home. What is the source for the stone? How did you get the color of the rough cut stone veneer and grout behind the bathtub to match the travertine floor and shower? Is it a color wash done over the stone? Was a stone sealer applied under a color wash?
The floors and shower are done in travertine...
