We are trying to decide to put a laundry room / living space (office/playroom) above our garage (which would be adjacent to our main floor) or in the basement and make it have it's own room. Thoughts?
It just does not seem like a regular high gloss paint, but would like to be able to do a comparable sheen in my laundry room.

Clean laundry. Use an all natural detergent.
Clean laundry. Speaking of laundry, is your laundry soap doing the trick? So many detergents on the market are formulated with overly strong artificial fragrances. Once you give a natural brand a try, you won't want to go back.

I need to put a washer/dryer in my closet because I have trouble with steps. Can you tell me the width of this closet. I would not have room for the shelves but love the idea. Thanks Carla
Jamie, read above in previous questions about the dimensions. For this project, there was another closet behind the small linen closet in the bathroom so we used the space from the closet behind. The shelving is only about 18" wide. Call in a contractor and show the photo, it will be no problem for

this photo makes it hard to determine. Both the bathroom and the laundry room are about 5'6" deep and 8' wide. They are separated by a 30" pocket door. The bathroom includes a 5' tub, 36" vanity, and toilet (both on opposite wall). The laundry room contains the stacked W/D and a 24" sink base. On
Great question and hard to capture in the picture. The bathroom area is about 6' deep and 8' wide. The tub (shown) and a small alcove make up the right side. On the left (behind the camera) is the toilet, which is against the laundry room wall, and a sink in a 36" vanity. Hope this helps!
