I have 8 foot walls and will be doing 12X24 tiles horizontally with a 5/8 mosaic stripe (can use 3 or 4 tiles high per row). It is a crema marfil tile with giallo onyx mosiac - low contrast.
Beautiful bath! What reference are the tiles used on walls and floor?
darker stripes were cut from 12x12 tiles, sized to make the pattern work. Ideally, the stripes should be 3 or four inches so that there is limited waste in cutting your tiles. Because the floor tile and the lighter wall tile were the same, we chose to begin with a darker tile at the bottom to provide a base
Hi Bmontano, The tile layout is probably one of the most important elements towards making the overall bathroom have the "WOW" factor. Fixtures on the wall should end up being located in just the right spots so they won't look out of balance. The controls should be centered in the tile border if it is

This major renovation of a bathroom and surrounding area resulted in a large, spa-like space. Rich, warm colors in tile and wood create a luxurious feel. Lavatories and the sculptural tub in pristine white provide a sharp contrast in the color palette. With seating areas and glowing, mod ceiling lights
this is fabulous bathroom, or better Spa!! may you tell me the material of the wall in the shower? it's rock or wood or watch?!?!? it's just fantastic!!! thank you
Where I can buy the wall and floor tiles? Thank you.
love it. I like that the same tile is used for both the bathroom floor and shower floor. It creates a nice flow to the room. I don't see a curb on the shower, how does that work? I thought you had to have a shower curb? Also, I don't see a shower drain

Its a lot of hand work. Every railing that has a radius to it is 99% of the time bent on the spot. We do ornamental iron work. and anytime there is a radius railing. We bend it on the spot. A lot of heating, beating, and bending.
beautiful curved staircase with iron handrail and painted tile risers
stair could be simple concrete construction with tiles etc, nothing special
Really like the tile work on the steps

Renovated bathroom, with "view slot" through shower to creek below
What is the tile used and color?
Both were found online. I know that the stone/glass mosaic is 1/4" x 1/4" squares, and the glass tile is 1" x 1". I believe it is called icicle.
Awesome way to work with the windows! Love the look and openness. Great project

combat chills. There's no getting around it — open showers can be drafty, especially in the winter months. Installing a heat lamp and radiant heat bathroom flooring can offset the shivers. Mount a heated towel rack nearby, and you'll be extra toasty as you dry off.

Just wanted to say what a classy bathroom this is. Kudos.
Does anyone know where the green tile is from? I'm in the Boston area as well and looking for something similar.
I have a thing for green tile and this is so beautiful...great work.
The Green Tile is glass mosaic Vetrotile by Ann Sachs. Thanks for asking.
Thanks for the feedback. Kudos to the Owner for selecting such great tile.
Vanity is a custom made cabinet. White Oak, vertical grain with light grey ceruse finish. Tile is Thassos from Ann Sacks.
