contemplating beadboarding the ceiling of my upstairs family/bonus room. It would look so much better than the big 1980's flower design currently squished into the ceiling. Those 1980's patterned ceilings are like wallpaper you can never remove. Do you have any of those in your home? It's tempting to have
e all beadboard. Do you think it will be hard to clean? Stuck between all beadbd or all tile.
have used beadboard extensively in my century-old summer home. It is beautiful and very easy to clean, just use a semi-gloss (or at LEAST satin finish) paint, especially in the bathroom. You could mix it with carrera marble, in a light grey/white, in the wet areas. Spectacular!
you add beadboard to a white bathroom, you are going to get a touch of the marine. That, along with the tooled legs of the vanity and the recessed cabinets, gives this contemporary bathroom a classic look.
