After 2 trips to SW, 2 to BM, Lowes, and Home Depot, my painters are not happy because I am not . This is the shade I would like to see on the ceiling of my family room/breakfast and kitchen area using white walls and walnut stained oak planks. Looking for a warm Tuscan glow. I can't wait to hear
Have done this before. The trick is to find a shape of a lamp at the Thrift store and redo it - by pointing it - the finding a unique lampshade for it.

Pressure treated wood is not bad to use. Wood that was pressure treated after 2003 is ok. Before 2003 was when they used arsenic. ITS OK!

did you seal the walnut before pouring the concrete around it?
The floors were sealed and polished after the concrete was poured - both wood and concrete were treated the same
Could also do this look in kitchen using concrete marmoleum
