is this reclaimed wood on the walls?
Hi Tammy! I believe the homeowners used reclaimed wood only on the ceiling in this room. Hope this helps! Best, Corynne
Love the wood on the wall!
More salvaged wood was utilized on the master bedroom ceiling. Kelley commissioned a friend to create the pendant light, made of fabric from a military tent. A large cattle fence secured to the wall serves as the headboard.Pendant: Debbie Stricklin

white cabinets with wood drawer and door
Hello, what wood type was used for the veneer on these cabinets? Was it bleached? I am about to have cabinet
Here's a link to a similar looking tile - http://tiledaily.com/2012/01/21/birch-wood-pattern-porcelain-tile/
but these are German cabinets with a proprietary veneer- meaning they won't say what it is or how they prepped it. To me it looked like a tropical wood like teak that had been bleached.

This is really pretty. Probably a bit darker wood stain.

What type of wood is used for the dining table?
I love the weathered look- what type of wood/stain is used to create that?
can you please tell me what kind of wood was used for the doors?
The wood looks salvaged, but it might be bleached or whitewashed, both of which can produce a similar effect.
Natural wood window frames and white wood
I love the design of the doors...size of the openings, the old wood skinny table, and most of all the view!
Just beautiful! Soft blue ceiling, wood-tone French doors, roomy porch.

ry design, with floors and beams in 2 different wood species (bamboo and pine), how do you pick the stain colors?
Do you know of any engineered wood flooring that looks even close to this nice? I live
The installer or stain subcontractor should be able to take a few sample pieces of wood and produce several sample mixtures and apply them to the sample piece(s). It is a little trial and error, but a good stainer should be able to quickly narrow down the options through their past experiences.
They just need to be pleasing to the eye, so put some stain color swatches next to each other and choose what appeals to you, and experiment on some wood samples of each species.
