Hi Kayron, I totally adore your bathroom style as also the powder room, its me 100% now the issue here is, I live in the UK and am presently venturing on updating a 16c thatched cottage, how on earth do I get your help
size. I've heard that side sconces give best light for putting on makeup, but afraid three sconces won't be enough light. (Most sconces take 60w max bulb.) Should I use a 2- or 3-light fixture over each mirror in ADDITION to side sconces? Or is that overkill? Room size is 10x16 with recessed shower light
What flooring is this and what is the best way to clean and maintain natural stone
and want to replicate it in my home but the Ralph Lauren 'Burlap' looks much more grey than the photos you posted. Is it just my computer or is the room color a nice soft sage/beige color?

Can you imagine this as a powder room
If you click on "more info" below the pic, you'll see who designed the room (Noonan/Adler) as well as a link to a fun looking book. As for the ceiling, it does indeed look like the paint is brought down the wall a foot or more

started own business from scratch- bought a fix it up home (built in the 60's) that has "great bones". Two fireplaces, big rooms, light oak narrow plank floors in living room, dining room and den.... I put dark maple wide plank floor in kitchen. I want to do hardwood floor in upstairs master.. should I try
What room is this? It looks like the landing at the top of the stairs with a fireplace. The caption says LIVING ROOM. If it's the landing which it looks like that is so HOT!
What's the room on the other side? Have you seen a 2sided fireplace work from a bedroom to the great room?

about not enough room for a loveseat. A loveseat might also become a visual barrier whereas the two chairs as you have them placed allows one to "peek" through to the fireplace area.
