I love the print on the chair.
Just because the bergère has a staid and classic shape doesn't mean it has to have a sedate fabric. This leopard print adds whimsy and excitement to the room.

Being on a not so great budget, I have looked without much success for large paintings, large B&W prints, sculptures. I will be in NYC in December. Suggestions as to where I should go. Web sites? I love the simplicity of contemporary with the unexpected
paintings and mosaics, I've just recently started doing contemporary abstract mosaics, which are a fraction of the cost. They can be enlarged and printed on metal or acrylic for a very cool look that is perfect for lofts. I know because I live in one.
Can­vases should be framed very cleanly, if at all. Stream­lined sculp­ture, black-and-white pho­tog­ra­phy, glass and prints also work. And if you like your art a lit­tle edgy, it'll feel right at home.
