Black on grey with white accents
black hutch - more glass than I need
Black and moss. The mossy green on the table may be difficult to see, but it looks great with the black hutch. Wooden tones throughout tie everything together.
few substantial pieces that balance with something more masculine. In this photo, the large loving cups and tea servers feel less frivolous in the black open cabinet.

Questions2
Are there house planss available for this home? I am trying to get a sense of the number of bedrooms, if the master is on the main floor with kids rooms upstairs, etc.
definite gray undertones. It works beautifully with both blacks and dark browns as accent colors. The door is a pre-stained Pella mahogany finish, the windows are Pella black finish and I am not sure on the white trim. It is a very pure white, without any noticeable undertones of cream or gray. Hope
color combo with wide white trim
Grey, Black Windows in White Frame
Gray with black exterior grids/white interior
Exterior color. Black window frames. White trim. House too big though, might work on smaller scale.
strong statement. No stone needed if have a great front door. Like the wider white trim. Unsure: the vertical siding Definitely needs bigger plants for our neighborhood. Karen has a reputation to uphold :)

Questions17
Would you consider black risers with the existing white trim/doors throughout the house? What other wood would you recommend (I have dogs so the harder the better). Thanks!
Great stairs! Wood species for the treads, posts, and floor please?
Please can you tell me the stain used on the oak floor? Thank you
@risi - the floor is a finish in place oak floor. Solid oak (I believe red oak).
Looks like it could be Dunn Edwards' Supernova, DE5448. A warm neutral that gives just enough pop to white accents.
should stain the second floor 'Golden oak' to match the first floor. What do you think?
@wmoomaw - since I'm not a floor refinisher, I can't answer that question. Maybe contact a local flooring installer for this level of detail. Best wishes!

Questions4
I want to change the staircase I was thinking of painting the risers white, leave the step part wood and painting the handrail black. Is that what you have done here?
Floor suggestion for heavy traffic hallway entrance.
mine is. Just that it is blue instead of yellow, which I like & are planning to keep. My dilemma is what to do with the floor??? Right now I have carpet on the steps and the floor...should I just replace the carpet? Change it to wood? or maybe ceramic tile?
got now, but paint would be awesome. I suggest painting the riser white, to go with the trim, and the tread black. I know it might sound scary, but check out some photos on Houzz. Paint the railing black as well, and the balusters white. Finally, the walls. Go with a lighter shade of the carpet color
