What's behind the flip-up door over the worksurface? It looks like it might be for charging cell phones, tablets and the like. What is the see-through material of the door? Does door have self-holding hinges to stay up while person working with the things inside?

Love the charging idea per locker. Kept trying to think of a location of a charging station but I think you just solved it! Any other hints/tips that were helpful for organization etc would greatly be appreciated. I also asked about the laundry baskets on wheels on the other picture - apologize for not
them to charge their devices that are hidden to eliminate clutter. I also have outlets in my office upper cabinets so I can hide the electric pencil sharpener and stapler. I love having a drawer for each child. You can see the white drawers in my homework room. I have them labeled with each of my boys
