Thank you for your question! This counter top can be found through a company called Richlite. Their website is http://www.richlite.com. This is actually a paper and composite product which can be cut like wood and is excellent for countertops indoor and outdoor. It is wonderful because

The counters in this project were Richlite resin-based wood pulp counters in black. They provided a nice black slate look with a very sustainable and non-toxic material. One word of caution, though - they will scuff and scratch, although that can be gently buffed out in place.

Not sure about concrete. I think of granite as about $120/sf installed. What you see here is Richlite, which was $41/sf installed (about 10 years ago), though I haven't seen it nearly that cheap since.
