note there is black in the floor, the TV, the wall surrounding the TV, the TV frame, the shelves and the chandelier. I guess they are all slightly different, yet they work together. The marble is "Portoro" which my dealers tell me is the rarest and extremely expensive now. All for Black!

What kind of tile/stone is above the fireplace?
work! I LOVE your design. The walnut cabinet and the fireplace are so handsome. Is the tile basalt tile. I would love to find this long horizontal stone. Thank you!
is it possible to hang a TV above the fire place? is there room to place the cables and cable boxes in this unit? the center piece is tile or stone? how can we hang the TV on this type of the material? thank you.
Run the stone tile to the ceiling to create drama and accentuate the vertical. Charcoal gray and black stone are always great ways to de-emphasize the black box that is a trademark of gas fireplaces.

What source did you use for the pebbles. They seem to be at many retailers but I want a very deep black polish with minimal grout like this one!

I am not sure where to get it in NY. However the stone is called Mexican Pebble.
No the concrete is not sealed it is just wet. The stacked stone is dry stacked Black Quartzite. Thanks for your questions
