What are the blue grasses in front of the hydrangea?
The landscaping is just beautiful and perfect for my home, but I cannot find a grass with the same vertical interest, blade width and mounding.
homeowner really enjoys gardening and takes her time to get the details just right. She provided this information to share with you - the grass is Lymus "Blue Lyme Grass" and the landscapers were Premier Landscape Contractors based out of Lemont, IL. They have done all the work staged over the past couple

Questions1
what is the blue green grass? Thanks
It's blue dune lyme grass. It can be somewhat invasive, but so can many grasses and, if you don't mind occasionally keeping it in check, can be a great grass for hot dry areas and on slopes. The color is absolutely awesome, looking great with purples and burgundies.
maybe a breed of deer grass...?
