L-shaped bookshelves
Let your bookshelves form an "L." This is an effective way to extend bedroom storage and display space in a tight bedroom. You can also nestle the bed into the same corner if necessary

Love the sunlight in this room as well as the open views. Just need to add full desktop around the windows for scrapbooking and hobby room. Shelving would need to be added on the opposite wall for storage rather than the bookshelves as seating here.

Questions2
Want to duplicate these bookshelves in my "Carolina room" turned library. Only have 8' ceilings in that room. Really like the shelves over the door, that seems to pull it all together. Don't know if I have enough room over my pocket French doors for a shelf?
Donnie and Emma added the bookshelves between the sitting room and family room, taking great care to utilize the entire wall, including the area above the doorway. Family photos and other collectibles add variety and interest to the shelving.
