Breakfast nook, 44" deep, 70" wide. Table is 29.5" wide. Snug but just fine. Big serving dishes stay on the island.
breakfast nook, fir top, built-in drawers
for the nook I would have posted it, but it was put together on the fly by our cabinet maker (Seattle Custom Cabinets).
The table top is 29 5/8" wide, 47 3/16" long, and 1 3/16" thick.
The interior of each drawer is 41" long, 13 1/2" wide and 11 1/4" deep.
The face of each drawer measures 16 5/16" wide
of the nook tapers. It is 2 1/2' wide at the top (NOT including the trim piece on the top), and 6 1/2" wide where the back meets the seat (just above the drawer handle).
Let me know if the dimensions are incomplete or don't make sense.
