Nook without the plastic on the window
Breakfast nook, 44" deep, 70" wide. Table is 29.5" wide. Snug but just fine. Big serving dishes stay on the island. breakfast nook, fir top, built-in drawers
I love this nook - it is perfect and just what I am looking for!
Could you tell me how the table was attached either to the floor and/or the wall? Did a carpentry shop make the vertical pedestal or was that able to be purchased? What cabinet maker made the nook seating? Thank you
The breakfast nook in my 1919 craftsman home is roughly 53" x 60". Is it unrealistic for me to hope to put a built-in nook, such as Joanna Mattson has above, in this space?
Seattle Custom Cabinets is the company that built the nook, including the pedestal. I highly recommend them. The attached photo shows how the table is supported against the wall.
