I have a brick kitchen floor and I am thinking about remodling. Holding me back is the cost of ripping up the floor and putting down a new one. I dont hate the floor but if I sell will it hurt the value?

this sort of brick floor with a bees wax finish. This type of floor was popularized by Hayes Town of Louisiana and QTS went and trained with the craftsman who used to install these floors. You can not achieve this look with a poly or other sort of coatings. There is not a depth to the floor finish.

Google "Brick Floor Tiles". They are pavers about 3/4" thick. The previous owners of our house had them installed and we have a couple dozen spare in the attic. Hides dirt so well and perfect for two boys who are hard on the floor.

Hello! it was a real brick floor. I believe the brick is Savannah Grey by Old Carolina Brick Company. They've more recently started making pavers and thin brick so you may be able to achieve the same look!
