I need to update my all brown and tan fireplace and like the colors on yours, did you add color to yours or is that natural bricks?

I believe we salvaged this from the rear facade to re-use / patch the existing chimney. Its old brick.
Hi- those are natural bricks but some of them were there and some of them were from other places which gives the color variation. No paints were used on them.
the hearth formed a central gathering spot. Even if you can't install a working fireplace in your space, you can approximate the look by bricking in a section of the wall or mounting a mantelpiece and surround for decorative displays.
